Wonjae focuses on machine learning and optimization skills on how to analyze data for single-cell RNA-seq data and other types of data on a single-cell level. He is working on knowing cellular mechanisms during differentiation, disease progression, and the development of cells. He not only works on bioinformatics, but also on creating a cloud-based platform by solving common problems like finance, the digital divide, and health with artificial intelligence for every people. His final goal is to improve the quality of life by utilizing artificial intelligence.
