I'm a Master of Science by Research (Data Sciences) student at International Institute of Information Technology - Bangalore researching Deep Learning for Speech Recognition, embedded systems, and rehabilitation robotics. I have worked for one of the major cloud and real-time Telecommunications company and have a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering. I’m working on end-to-end models for ASR of different low resource languages in the multilingual scenario. My current interest is in the Attention-based models and how they can be used to automatically discover acoustic sub-word units. I also study how pure data-driven deep models can be blended together with knowledge-based models for reducing model complexity, faster training/inference and extracting deeper insight into Speech Recognition.
