I'm ambitious and eager for knowledge person. I always try to do my work best I can. Nevertheless, I stay open-minded and friendly. I'm interested in mystery of life, where consciousness comes from, space exploration and how universe works. I worked for Intel VPG and AIPG groups in the past. I also worked on face detection using deep models deployed on IoT devices for Quantum.CX startup. Presently, I’m chairman and cofounder of Gradient student club on University of Technology in Gdańsk. To my knowledge, this is first student organisation that study and spread knowledge about AI and deep learning in Tri-City. My interests revolve around theoretical background of machine learning algorithms, but I’m also an engineer, so I always end up implementing algorithm I currently work on. Currently, my team and I focus on research project on “Planning in Imagination”. We want computers to learn their mental model of world (similarly what human does) and use it to ruminate their future decisions in environment they live in. Then agent use those plans to take best action in current state that lead to agent’s goal. Prior work underpinning our research are two state-of-the-art methods: AlphaZero and World Models. Although programming and research is a hard work, I genuinely enjoy it.
